When one of America’s largest retailers partnered with one of the world’s largest finance companies, a new type of banking company was born. Enter Bluebird. Founded in 2012 following a pilot program in 2011, Bluebird began through a partnership between American Express and Walmart. Both companies sought to help customers who thought they were being cheated by large financial institutions and increased account fees.
Since the beginning, Bluebird has been laser-focused on delivering a premium banking experience without the fees. Bluebird boasts many features, including a prepaid card option with no monthly fees, early direct deposit, online bill paying, and more. The company’s rich feature set has drawn many favorable reviews, including one from CNBC calling it the “best prepaid card with no monthly fee.”
Bluebird Bank Statement Template
The technology behind Bluebird allows you multiple options for accessing previous transactions, including a traditional paper statement you can download.
If you use the Bluebird website or mobile app, you can access your previous transactions in the following steps:
- Log into your account on the Bluebird website or mobile app
- Select your main account
It is that simple if you’re technically savvy. Bluebird takes it a step further by allowing you to look at your five most recent transactions through text messaging. Texting the word “HIST” to BBIRD (22473) will show you where you’ve used your account recently. Message and data rates do apply, though.
However, if that traditional paper Bluebird bank statement is something that you need, you can also access those on the Bluebird customer dashboard or through the mobile app:
- Log into your account on the Bluebird website or mobile app
- Select your Main Account
- Recent bank statements will be on the right side of the screen
- Past statements can also be viewed by clicking “View all statements”. Monthly statements for the past 24 months will be available.
