You can download a copy of your statement from the bank’s website. Alternatively, you can download the mobile app to access your statement or use the digital banking platform. The template of the RBS bank statement comprises a letterhead with the bank’s logo at the top. Below the logo to the left are the words “ACCOUNT STATEMENT”, followed by the statement period, account number, and account holder’s name. To the right is a summary of the details. Under these two subsections is a subheader marked “CONFIDENTIAL”. It is followed by the details of the transactions carried out within the statement period, presented in a tabular form. The columns show date, details of the transactions, value date, withdrawals made, and deposits. There is a final column for the balance after each transaction. Finally, at the bottom is a footer with some information from the bank.
